1. Clean the shoe sole:
- Use sandpaper to clean and roughen the surface of the shoe sole. This helps the glue stick more firmly.
2. Cut and paste the sole:
- Measure the size of the shoe sole that needs to be replaced.
- Use scissors to cut and paste the sole according to the measured size.
- Peel off the protective layer behind the sole.
3. Paste the sole:
- Place the sole on the position that needs to be glued on the shoe sole, align it accurately.
- Method 1: Use glue: Apply a thin layer of specialized glue evenly on both surfaces that need to be glued, then press the sole firmly onto the shoe sole.
- Method 2: Use heat: Place a thin layer of cloth on top of the sole, then use an iron at a moderate temperature to heat and press the sole onto the shoe sole.
4. Trim:
- After gluing, use scissors to trim the excess sole glue.
- Let dry: Let the sole dry completely according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Note:
- For best results, the gluing process should be carried out in a dry, cool place.
- If you are not confident in doing it, you can bring your shoes to a shoe repair shop for support.
- The lifespan of the sole gluing also depends on the frequency of use and conditions of use.
